6pm Fitchburg's First Thursday celebration, The Rabbit Hole Bookstore,
Main Street, Fitchburg, MA
Presentation on "Just A Kid, a Guard at the Nuremberg Trials". Emily will
speak about her father, Emilio DiPalma, and his stint as the Sergeant of
the courtroom guard at the first Nuremberg trials, of Hitlers top officers.
In May, Emily and Emilio will be traveling to Washington DC where he will
be made an honorary member of the Office of Special Investigations by famed
Nazi hunter Eli Rosenbaum, after Mr. Rosenbaum discovered the book on Ebay
and contacted them. The following day, they will travel to the Virginia
Holocaust Museum to speak. Mr DiPalma will be honored there as well with
the unveiling of a mannequin made to look just like him, to stand guard at
the witness stand in the reproduction Nuremberg trial room there.
10 copies of "Just A Kid," autographed by Emilio DiPalma himself, will be
available at the Rabbit Hole that night. |
